Does the new language change the process for replacing officers when a position becomes unexpectedly vacant—ARTICLE 2: OFFFICERS, Section 2.1.3?

The language in the current ByLaws makes it very clear how most Board members should be replaced in the case of a vacancy. However, procedures for replacing an officer in the Presidential rotation (Second Vice President, First Vice President, President, and Immediate Past President) were less clear. The proposed language describes a process when such vacancies occur.

This change was made necessary when such a vacancy occurred within the past few years.
